What if legendary Astro Boy mangaka, Osamu Tezuka, drew Hatsune Miku?

In the manga industry, there is no bigger name than Osamu Tezuka. The man behind such classics like Astro Boy, Black Jack, and Dororo has influenced the anime and manga industry so much, including many of today’s most well known anime and manga personalities. The image is actually a collaboration between Crypton Future Media INC. and Tezuka Producctions, and it is one of two visuals for the upcoming “Isao Tomita x Hatsune Miku: Dr. Coppelius” orchestral concert to celebrate the life of the late musical composer, Isao Tomita. Here is the other one:

Isao Tomita is the musical composer for many Osamu Tezuka anime, including Jungle Emperor (Kimba the White Lion), Princess Knight, and Dororo. He is considered a pioneer in Japan’s electronic music industry, and has even worked with Miku for his “Symphony Ihatov” concert tour back in 2012.

The “Isao Tomita x Hatsune Miku: Dr. Coppelius” orchestral concert will be held from November 11 – 12, 2016, at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo.
