A TV anime adaptation for Square Enix’s smartphone “light novel-style RPG” for smartphones, Schoolgirl Strikers, has been green-lit, and revealed together with a newly-opened official website, which shows a brand new announcement video for the new anime.
The video revealed that the Schoolgirl Strikers TV anime will be produced by J.C. Staff, and will be premiering in january 2017. A new key visual was also revealed by the website.
The game was released by Square Enix for iOS smartphones back in April, and it is set in an all-girls school known as Goryoukan Academy, which also trains the “Fifth Force”, a special unit tasked to secretly protect the world from unknown entities known as “Oburi”, which threaten the safety of the planet.
