Something strange just happened at a McDonald’s in Japan, as they seemed to “hire” a few youkai from Yo-Kai Watch to serve the customers.
Jibanyan, Komajiro and Komasan all learned to work the counter, how to operate the griddle, cook and assemble the food chain’s signature burgers, and many more. But sadly, it seems that only Jibanyan was doing that “service with a smile” thing.
The appearance of the youkai in McDonald’s is part of the tie-in between the anime/game franchise and the fast food giant, and it includes a DVD and a calendar, to be released on November 2. The youkai trio’s time working inside a McDonald’s restaurant will be featured in the DVD, which will also feature two anime episodes, while the calendar will feature original illustrations.
