After the success of the TV anime, which was widely accepted by critics and fans alike, it has been revealed that a live-action adaptation movie adaptation is now in the works for Yayoiso’s ReLIFE manga. The film is slated to premiere on April 15, 2017.
Actor Taishi Nakagawa, who appeared in the live-action Prison School TV series, will be playing the lead role of Arata Kaizaki, while the female lead, Chizuru Hishiro, will be played by actress Yuuna Taira.
The film will be having an original ending not found in the anime and manga. The manga and anime revolve around 27-year old Arata Kaizaki, who was given the offer to join an experiment to make him look like a high school student and redo his life by re-entering high school by taking a pill.
