Iron Man and Space Brothers get a crossover manga for a Women"s Magazine

Marvel’s Iron Man is definitely no stranger to Japan, having a few adventures in the country, as well as having his own anime, and appearing in a crossover with Attack on Titan. Now, the Armored Avenger is appearing in a new collaboration manga by Space Brothers creator, Chuuya Koyama, where Tony Stark meets Space Brothers character, Mutta.

The 17-page crossover manga was featured in the November 2016 edition of women’s magazine, FRaU, and is titled “#Special Tony to Mutta”. The manga is part of the magazine’s special feature on why adults are into Disney, as Marvel is now a part of Disney. It follows Tony Stark as he arrives on the moon for a special mission, and then encounters Mutta.

Koyama is a huge Iron Man fan, and initially thought drawing a crossover between the two series would be easy, but later admitted that he had difficulties, and even joked that superheroes in Space Brothers felt a bit out of place. He then said that he loved making the team-up which he previously thought was impossible.
