A new anime adaptation will be bringing author Kakeru Kobashiri’s fantasy light novels, Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou Sho, to life, as announced during this year’s Dengeki Bunko fall event.
The light novels follow a witch named Zero, and her half-human, half-beast mercenary companion/ body guard, as she travels the world in search of a powerful tome known as “The Book of Zero”, which has been said to have the power to destroy the world. The series won the grand prize for Dengeki Bunko’s Novel Awards back in 2013.
The anime adaptation is slated to premiere in Spring of next year, with animation studio, WHITE FOX, adapting the novels into the TV anime.
