Studio Trigger’s Little Witch Academia is one of next season’s most hyped anime, and the L.W.A. hype train is quickly gaining steam as the anime’s official website has now revealed a brand new PV.
This is the beginning of a new adventure indeed… the official website has also revealed a new teaser visual featuring Akko just as she enters Luna Nova Academy.
The anime will premiere in January 2017, and will be streamed via Netflix.
Yoh Yoshinari first created and directed the first short film for Anime Mirai 2013, which later became an instant success, getting much adoration from fans and critics alike. A sequel project was then announced on Kickstarter, with the project reaching and far exceeding its US$150,000 goal in just six hours. The sequel, The Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade, also premiered last year.
So, who is excited for this new anime? The original short film is often considered as one of the studio’s greatest works, along with Kill la Kill, so this new TV anime adaptation should be a good one!
