According to an upcoming issue of Megami Magazine, the latest addition to the Lyrical Nanoha anime franchise, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection, will be a 2-part anime movie, with the first one being released in Japan by Summer 2017, though there is still no release date for its sequel. However, fans were promised that they wouldn’t have to wait for long.
Nanoha franchise creator, Masaki Tsuzuki, recently sat down with the magazine for an interview, and revealed that “Reflection” will take place three months after the events of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A’s. Yukari Tamura will be reprising her role as Nanoha Takamachi, Nana Mizuki will return as Fate Testarossa, and Kana Ueda will be returning as Hayate Yagami.
The story will take place when Nanoha and friends are in 5th grade, with strange things happening around Tokyo. It will also introduce game-original characters, Amitie and Kirie, also known as the Florian sisters.
