Magical Girl Raising Project director talks about sequel, says no plans yet

Magical Girl Raising Project has proven to be one of Fall 2016’s best anime. The anime has proven to be quite bloody and depressing, and from the looks of things, fans want more, and are even asking for a sequel. In a series of tweets, series director, Hiroyuki Hashimoto, finally addressed them.

The director encouraged fans to read Asari Endou’s original light novels which the anime series was based on. He then said that “As for the anime, a sequel hasn’t been decided.” He added that he hopes to enjoy the story along with everyone again someday.

There you have it folks, straight from the horse’s mouth. Better read the light novels first, and hope that maybe, just maybe, they decide on a sequel… and have magical girls kill each other again.
