During the Tokyo Comic-Con, the “Art of 18” stage event was held, and during that event, it was announced that renowned director, Koji Morimoto (Magnetic Rose) will be working on a new anime with Studio Gonzo, and it is tentatively titled “18 anime”.
The new anime will be part of The Art of 18 multimedia franchise which includes a popular puzzle smartphone game in Japan, 18: Kimi to Tsunagaru Puzzle. Morimoto himself has been credited as the chief supervisor for the new anime, with game creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi being credited as one of the creators.
