Baccarat, a French company held in high esteem for their work with crystal, is releasing a collaboration with the One Piece that should lend some class to your Straw Hat pirate gatherings.
It’s something an anime fan has probably dreamed of: a way to show off their favorite series even when important company is over. Baccarat’s collaboration with One Piece, which is having orders processed by the entertainment company Ookazenookorusama who hopes to bring the joy of Japanese culture around the world. Even for fans it should bring them some joy as some of the most popular pirates are included in the collaboration.
Without Luffy we wouldn’t really have One Piece, so of course he’s included. His crest is designed to look like it’s part of the hoodie he’s wearing. The phrase below his crest reads “I’m the King of the Pirates.”
Nami is also integrated nicely into her heraldic shield, cutting the main field in half with her arm.
The great swordsman Roronoa Zoro’s design declares “I lost my way” as he shows off his three swords.
Usopp is ready for action on his glass, taking aim over the top of his heraldic shield.
The fiery chef Sanji is actually standing in front of his crest, slicing through the foreground with a kick.
Chopper’s shield is of course flanked by two stags and carries the statement “I’m doctor!”
Nico Robin is not only showing off her Devil Fruit powers and a set of Poneglyphs. The motto under her crest is “I like the thrill.”
Frankie’s motto is of course “…..Super!!!” and his design almost doesn’t fit on the glass.
The crew’s musician, Brook, is looking ready as ever, brandishing his cane sword and flanked by a guitar and violin.
It’s only appropriate that Ace is flanked by flames and carries the slogan “Thanks for loving” below his heraldic shield.
The crystal glasses are actually a decent size, able to hold 280mm and standing at seven centimeters tall. If it seems too good to be true, though, it might just be as each glass costs 23,100 yen.
If you decide to order through the site you’ll have the option of buying a full collector’s set, though, for 231,000 yen. If the price tag doesn’t deter you, you can order them on the official collaboration site here and can expect it to arrive sometime in November.
