Sinbad is probably one of Magi‘s most popular (and most powerful) characters and he even has his own spin-off manga titled Magi: Sinbad no Bouken or Magi: The Adventure of Sinbad which is written by Magi manga author Shinobu Ohtaka and is drawn by Ohtera Yoshifumi. Now, that very spin-off manga will have its very own OVA as announced by the Magi: Sinbad no Bouken official website.

A commercial for the OVA has also been released and it claims that the OVA will cover Sinbad’s descent into Baal’s dungeon. The OVA will come bundled with volume 3 of the manga which will be released on May 16, 2014.

Daisuke Ono (Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse’s Yuuya Bridges) will be reprising his role as legendary Sinbad, who in the OVA is yet to become the mighty King of the Seven Seas.
