Ibaraki prefecture, particularly the town of Oarai, is the home turf of the popular tank-battle anime, Girls und Panzer, and what better way for the Japanese Red Cross Society to get people to donate blood than to seek the help of the area’s resident animated heroines?
The Red Cross will be giving away special collaboration clear file folders to anyone who donates 400mL worth of their own blood in three of their blood-letting rooms in Mito, Tsukuba, and Hitachi.
The campaign will only be until August 31, 2014 and only those cleared by doctors can donate blood and get the special Girls und Panzer clear files. Not only will some people get some great Girls und Panzer prizes, they will also be able to save lives.
