With Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment heading to North American and European PlayStation Vitas next week, Bandai Namco Games has unveiled new screenshots from the game as well the western version’s very first DLC bundle.
The DLC bundle will include various costume packs for the heroines such as the wedding dress, as you can see in the image above, as well as school swimsuits, sleepwear, and dress shirts. The wedding dress was originally a first-production bonus for the original Japanese version.
The DLCs will be released the same day as the game. The DLC pack will be available for free only until November 18, 2014.
The new screenshots meanwhile feature Kirito facing off against one of the game’s antagonists, Heathcliff, in what seems to be a very intense battle. The screenshots also show another villain, Alberich, who was the main antagonist for the first game, Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment. Can you guess who he really is?
Both Heathcliff and Alberich were announced to be part of Hollow Fragment before the game was released in Japan. They were announced along with SAO heroines Strea (introduced in the first PS Vita game), Leafa, and Lizbeth.
The game will be available for download via the PlayStation network (PSN) starting August 19, 2014 for North America and August 20, 2014 for Europe. Bandai Namco also announced that a major game update will be happening on September 24, 2014 and it will be adding about 30 more hours of additional content with new missions, bosses, weapons, areas and more, as well as an increase in the maximum level from 200 to 250.
