Attack on Titan spin-off manga, Attack on Titan: Junior High, gets a TV anime

What if Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and the rest of the Survey Corps crew were normal Junior High students? Saki Nakagawa’s Attack on Titan spin-off manga, Attack on Titan: Junior High, answers that question, and we are getting to see this very spin-off get animated!

Production I.G. is animating this new spin-off with Kill la Kill episode director, Yoshihide Ibata, directing the project. The anime will feature the very same cast returning from the original anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s bestselling manga, with Yuuki Kaji, Yui Ishikawa, and Marina Inoue reprising their roles as Eren, Mikasa, and Armin respectively.

An official website, http://kyojinchu.tv/ , has also been opened and it features the new PV and the staff and cast, as well as the new visual image.

Attack on Titan: Junior High is set to premiere this October 2015 as part of the Autumn 2015 anime season. Again, this is a spin-off anime and not the second season.
