After showing fans the darker side of trading card games with Selector Infected Wixoss and Selector Spread Wixoss, Ruko, Yuki, and Tama are back for the series’ very own sequel movie, which will also be the latest addition to the Wixoss franchise.
The anime’s official website has now revealed that it would be titled Selector Destructed Wixoss and they also revealed the upcoming movie’s key visual image.
The website also revealed that Selector Destructed Wixoss will open in 35 theaters across Japan starting on February 13, 2015. Advance tickets will go on sale on August 1, 2015 and will be bundled with a special promo card featuring Tama.
Introduced last April 2014 and already having an English version, the Wixoss trading card game was launched by Takara Tomy and now has two very successful and critically acclaimed anime series, Selector Infected Wixoss and Selector Spread Wixoss. Both anime series have been quite infamous for being a whole lot darker and edgier than other TCG anime and is considered the “Madoka Magica or Evangelion of TCG anime”.
