The arcade version for the anime and light novel cross-over 2D fighting game, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition, which is the sequel to Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, has already been released in Japanese arcades last July 28, and to further promote the game, a new PV has been released, and it features the game’s two new additions
Emi Yuusa, or Emilia the Hero, from The Devil is a Part-timer! (Hataraku Maou-sama!), and Quenser (with Milinda and Heivia) from Heavy Object, are the two latest additions to the game, which also includes the beloved characters from the first game like Sword Art Online’s Kirito and Asuna, Accel World’s Kuroyukihime, Shakugan no Shana’s Shana, Tora Dora’s Taiga Aisaka, The Irregular at Magic High School’s Miyuki Shiba, and many many more.
Aside from the new characters, this sequel game will feature a better balance between the characters as French Bread and Ecole will be tweaking the game while also adding a few new features, which were not available in the original release. Though the original game was eventually released for home consoles as well as getting an English localization, no word yet whether this sequel game will also be getting that home console treatment.
And who knows? Maybe we will also be getting some new additional characters? Now which Dengeki Bunko light novel character do you want to see in the game? A Certain series’ Accelerator perhaps? Or Index as a support character? How about making The Irregular at Magic High School’s Tatsuya Shiba a playable character instead of merely being a support? Who knows?
