More details on Snow Miku‘s ongoing collaboration with the Japanese baseball team, Hokkaido Ham Fighters has been announced, including the reveal of a new official collaboration image featuring Snow Miku stepping up to bat in Fighters gear!
Miku previously appeared in a poster promoting an event called Asian Festa alongside Fighters star, Yoh Daikan, and an ad for the collaboration was shown during the 7th inning of the Fighters game against the Yomiuri Giants. When the Fighters song was played, Miku was the one singing it during that game.
The collaboration will feature Fighters X Miku T-shirts which will come with commemorative postcards featuring Snow Miku herself. Only 390 of these limited edition shirts will be made and will be available for people who buy tickets to the 3-game home series against the Chiba Lotte Marines from July 31 0 August 2, 2015.
The Chiba Lotte Marines are known for their anime collaborations, most particularly with OreImo. Hmmmm… Miku vs. OreImo sounds quite interesting, huh?
The collaboration will also include several Miku merchandise up for sale, which range from fans, towels, and key rings.
Miku’s version of the Fighters Song will also be played during games while the Fighters cheerleaders will be donning Snow Miku costumes. The Fighters home field of Sapporo Dome will also be sporting a Miku theme as part of the collaboration.
