Last week, American robot makers, Megabots, has challenged the Japanese robot makers, Suidobashi Heavy Industry, builders of the famous real-life giant robot, Kuratas, to a fight… a fight between their own giant robots!
And now, in a new video released by Suidobashi Heavy Industry, the Japanese robot makers have announced they have accepted the challenge and this means this will lead to one thing we have only seen in anime, mangas, western comic books, and movies: A GIANT ROBOT FIGHT!
Suidobashi Heavy Industry founder Kogoro Kurata has some fighting words for Megabots as he accepted the challenge and cited that Giant Robots are a part of Japanese culture now. This means that Japan is not about to give up the giant robot supremacy yet.
The date of the duel has yet to be determined but this really promises to be a treat for mecha fans everywhere as this will be the first actual “Giant Robot Battle” in history. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the future.
