Ladybeard has become a pop culture favorite in Japan of sorts, and he has even joined a kawaii Jpop group known as Ladybaby. The three-member pop group, which comprises of Rie Kaneko, Rei Kuromiya, and of course, Lady Beard himself, has recently released their latest single, Nippon Manju, which welcomes people to Japan. Check it out
Now that’s Kawaii! A great mix of J-pop and heavy metal, just like the idol group itself… right? RIGHT?! Well, hopefully they can do AniSongs in the future as well… I think. Who knows? Maybe they can give Babymetal a run for their money
The idol group comprised of the two Japanese ladies and the one hulking pro wrestler from Australia are scheduled to make an appearance at the Aomori Rock Festival 2015 this September. Meanwhile, Ladybeard himself will be making an appearance in the Philippines as he attends Cosplay Mania (CosMania) from October 3 – 4 at the SMX Convention Center in Manila.
Cosplay Mania is the biggest and most prestigious Cosplay Convention in the Philippines and its cosplay competition serves as a qualifier for Anime Festival Asia (AFA).
