The anime adaptation of the Haruhi Suzumiya series spin-off manga, The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, has been quite a success, with many rekindling their love for the beloved characters. However, it seems that the manga itself is already approaching its end according to the manga creator (mangaka) himself, Puyo.
アニメは5巻分までで終わりですが漫画の方は後残り3巻分で一応の区切りがついていますのでもしよければ読んでみてください

According to his tweet, he plans to end The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan manga in three more volumes and also invited fans to also check out the manga as the anime will only be taking on the manga’s first five volumes.
Puyo launched The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan as a spin-off to the Haruhi Suzumiya series and focuses on the alternate world Kyon ended up in during the events of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. The series focuses on the more “normal” versions of the characters, including a much more emotional Nagato. The anime adaptation premiered last April and an OVA has also been confirmed.
