Madoka Magica and the Monogatari series are two of the biggest anime titles from the renowned anime studio known as Shaft, and as they are about to celebrate their 40th anniversary, Shaft has announced a new exhibition which pairs up these two gigantic anime titles for a new exhibition called Madogatari
This new Madogatari exhibition will feature several animation sketches from some of Shaft’s works. The exhibition’s newly-opened official website meanwhile features a special scroll-through gallery where collaboration artwork between the two mega popular Shaft anime can be found.
The Madogatari Exhibition will be held in Tokyo from November 27 until December 2, 2015 before hitting the road and going to Osaka fro December 22 – 27, 2015 and then to Sapporo from February 2 – 14, 2016. Be sure to watch out for people doing the Shaft head tilt
Shaft was founded back in the September of 1975 and has gone on to animate some of the most unforgettable and popular anime works like Mahou Sensei Negima?!, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Mekaku City Actors, Nisekoi, and of course, Madoka Magica and the Monogatari series.
