Pokemon re-imagined as old men in new Ojimon smartphone game

Japan is often known for its wide variety of weird stuff, and a new smartphone game from the country is certainly something one would find a bit out of the ordinary, and it is called Ojimon, which is short for Ojisan Monster

The game re-imagines the Pokemon we know and love into Ojisans, or middle-aged Japanese men. However, unlike Pokemon, Ojimon is a tad bit crueler as players use Ojiballs to catch Ojimons and force them into labor, and this means the poor Ojimons are used to dig up more coins for the player. These coins can be used to level up Ojimons and unlock new Ojimons

And yes, it seems like you can evolve your Ojimons too.

The game is free-to-play and is now available for Android and iOS smartphones
