The official Bandai Namco Games youtube channel has started streaming two new announcement videos for the upcoming Pokemon arcade game, Pokken, and Pokemon fans rejoice! Because one of them includes CHARIZARD!
The first video shows the addition Charizard, also known as Lizardon in Japan, to the game. The video features the popular fire/ flying Pokemon putting the hurt on the already-announced members of the Pokken roster before transforming to its mega evolved state, Mega Charizard X.
The second video meanwhile announces the addition of Weavile, also known as Manyula in Japanese. This new video shows the dark/ ice Pokemon showing some close-range moves using its powerful claws as well as showing some ice-type moves before finishing it with one big claw attack
Pokken will officially be released to Japanese arcades this July 15, 2015 and is developed in a partnership between Bandai Namco and Nintendo, with Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada helping develop the game.
Pikachu, Machamp, Lucario, Gardevoir, Suicune, and Gengar have already been confirmed in the game along with the two new additions. While the game will be released in Japanese arcades, there is still no news on an English version or a console release.
