Here we go again!
Last time, Screw Attack pitted DC’s Man of Steel against Weekly Shounen Jump!’s mighty Son Goku in a battle to the death, which of course was won by Superman and sent many DBZ fans on a frenzy.
With new information about Son Goku, including his Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan forms coming to light, it seems that Dragon Ball fans now have a stronger argument for Goku’s victory. However, Superman fans remain steadfast that the Man of Tomorrow is still one of the most powerful beings in all of fiction, able to destroy planets with his heat vision and surviving a force equal to multiple supernovas. And without further ado, here’s the Death Battle rematch fans have been waiting to see
Ouch! Looks like the video answered a few more questions than the previous one and has become Screw Attack’s “final nail on the coffin” of sorts as they have thoroughly and equally researched BOTH Son Goku and Superman to decide the final winner.
Superman is more than a character, he is supposed to be the ideal for what a hero should be, while Goku is the model for overcoming great odds, but in the end, as seen in Dragon Ball: Battle of Gods, even Goku has his limits. While Superman was in fact beaten by Doomsday, it is safe to say that in that fight, he still has not reached his FULL potential, and this fight features both fighters at their best.
