With its Japanese console release already approaching this December, Dengeki Online has announced that Sega’s light novel crossover fighting game, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition, the sequel to their bestselling Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax game, has added three new support characters.
One of the new support characters joining the game will be the mysterious Kana Iriya from Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu.
The second of the newly-announced support characters for the game will be none other that Tomo Asama from Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, who will use her mad archery skills to support your playable character.
Finally, from Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho comes the powerful magician, Zero, who will be using some spellcraft to support her partner.
Scheduled for release on December 17, 2015, the home console versions for Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition will be available for the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4. It will feature additional fighters such as Tatsuya Shiba from The Irregular at Magic High School, Emilia the Hero/ Emi Yuusa from The Devil is a Part-timer, and Quenser Barbotage from Heavy Object and Kuroko Shirai from A Certain series.
Aside from the new characters, this sequel game will feature a better balance between the characters as French Bread and Ecole will be tweaking the game while also adding a few new features, which were not available in the original release. Though the original game was eventually released for home consoles as well as getting an English localization, no word yet whether this sequel game will also also be getting an English version.
