After Bandai Namco announced a fourth Sword Art Online game during the Tokyo Game Show, the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2015 event announced the details on this new game, as well as the platform, PV, and title, which will be Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization.
Available for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita platforms, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization features a brand new original heroine, just like the three previous games, and it is scheduled for release some time in 2016.
Details on this new heroine have not yet been revealed unfortunately, however, they did announce that more details will be revealed with the release of Issue #600 of Dengeki PlayStation magazine. They also unveiled a new visual of the game, which features her with Kirito and Asuna’s SAO avatars.
They also revealed special Sword Art Online PlayStation 4 consoles which also feature Kirito and Asuna. These consoles come in both black and white and pre-orders have now already begun. Scheduled for release on November 19, 2015, these special SAO PS4 consoles will cost 42,980 yen and will come bundled with “Game Director’s Edition” that includes both Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment and Sword Art Online: Lost Song.
