City Hunter is getting itself a brand new OVA, and MaiDiGi TV has began streaming a new promo video for that very upcoming OVA, and behind-the-scenes look at how the anime was made.
This new OVA will be adapted from Tsukasa Hojo’s City Hunter manga, “Ryou no Propose” (Ryou’s Proposal) and will be a “motion graphic anime”. The video will actually be bundled to people who purchase all 12 City Hunter XYZ Edition volumes and will be part of the series’ 30th anniversary celebrations.
Those who buy all 12 volumes will not only get the anime, but they will also receive two reproductions of the manga’s original art. The OVA will also feature the original cast reprise their respective roles

- Youko Asagami as Saeko Nogami
- Tesshô Genda as Umibozu
