Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is teaming up with Japan’s premiere wrestling organization, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). And since this is wrestling, the game’s resident Luchador is getting himself his own NJPW makeover, inspired by the Rainmaker himself, Kazuchika Okada! The crossover collaboration also revealed a new video:
The Okada-inspired costume will make King look a lot like the reigning NJPW heavyweight champ. They will also change King’s Rage Art into Okada’s signature Rain of Money.
Tekken is also offering limited-time in-game items as part of the collaboration. These include King’s Okada costume, Bullet Club and “New Japan Pro-Wrestling x Heihachi” T-Shirts, and more starting January 23, 2017. Real-life collaboration merchandise will also be released.
