Mob Psycho 100 wins "BEST SHOUNEN MANGA" for the 64th Shogakukan Manga Awards, other winners also revealed

The committee for this year’s Shogakukan Manga Awards have now revealed the winners for their various categories, including Best Children’s Manga, Best Shounen Manga, and Best General Manga. The five winning manga are:


Best Children’s Manga: Ijime by Kaoru Igarashi



Best Shounen Manga: Mob Psycho 100 by ONE



Best Shoujo Manga: 37.5°C no Namida by Chika Shiina



Best General Manga (2 winners)


Blue Giant by Shinichi Ishizuka



Juuhan Shuttai! by Naoko Matsuda



Shogakukan is also awarding a posthumous award to the late mangaka, Kenichirou Takai. He will be awarded the Jury’s Special Award


The Shogakukan Manga Awards are considered one of the most prestigious awards given in the manga industry. Other manga titles from non-Shogakukan publications have also won the award. Previous winners include Magi, Sket Dance, Haikyuu!!, My Love Story!! and many more.
