Yesterday may have been the day dreaded my millions of people around the world, however, several anime series celebrated Valentine’s Day, also known as V-Day or Single Awareness Day in style as they released new artworks featuring some of their most popular characters holding some chocolates and giving it to somebody.
Fairy Tail celebrated the occasion with Wendy as the Sky Dragon Slayer (illustrated by creator Hiro Mashima himself) shyly presenting people with chocolates.
Considered 2014’s most underrated anime, Rage of Bahamut: Genesis celebrated the occasion with the series’ most beloved ships. Well, we have a tsundere loli zombie in our midst huh?
Diabolik Lovers meanwhile has a few baked goodies in their Valentine greetings to the fans
Assassination Classroom’s ruthless foreign language teacher, Irina Jelavic, also known as B*tch-Sensei, meanwhile held a “lesson on seduction”. Oh, there was chocolate too, but knowing that the series is full of assassins, you might want to steer clear of it… Well, assassination using seduction is Irina’s forte.
Saekano: How to Raise a Boring girlfriend also celebrated V-day and they released several Valentine’s Day greeting cards featuring the unassuming main girl, Megumi Katou. They also released Saekano clearfiles on V-day.
The other series which also celebrated V-day included One Piece, the A Certain series, Kiniro Mosaic, Non Non Biyori, Sora no Method, Yuri Kuma Arashi, and Is the Order a Rabbit?
Now ain’t that sweet? Now if only we could get some of the bitterness away…
