Bandai Namco, which produces the upcoming Pokemon fighting game, Pokken Tournament, has started streaming the game’s latest trailer.
The video features Pokken Tournament’s gameplay and online play, as well as introduces the playable Pokemon and the support Pokemon. So far, there are only five playable Pokemon announced, and they are Lucario, Machamp, Pikachu, Suicune, and Gardevoir. The support Pokemon include Emolga, Lapras, Snivy, Frogadier, Eevee, and Fennekin.
The video introduces Lucario as a balanced all-around fighter, Machamp as a slow but a powerful heavy hitter with great grappling, and Gardevoir as an excellent ranged fighter who can keep enemies at bay from a distance. Suicune, like Gardevoir is also introduced as a great distance fighter while Pikachu is introduced as one electrifying fighter.
This collaboration game between Bandai Namco and Nintendo is set for release in Japanese arcades starting Summer 2015. More announcements and additions will be made in days to come. No home console release has been announced so far.
