Jack Bauer, played by Hollywood actor Kiefer Sutherland, is one of the most well-known fictional spies in the world thanks to his TV series, 24. Now, imagine him getting a manga make-over? And the one doing that is none other than Fairy Tail and Rave Master manga creator, Hiro Mashima!
Live-action or manga version, Jack Bauer still looks badass huh? Looks like Hiro Mashima-sensei put a lot of love in making this illustration as he is reported to be one big 24 fanboy. This illustration is all part of the promotion for the Blu-ray/DVD release of 24: Live Another Day, which will hit Japanese stores this March 4, 2015.
The illustration was likely inspired by this screenshot of Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer aiming his pistol. It will also be published in the 14th issue of this year’s Weekly Shounen Magazine, which serializes his manga, Fairy Tail. Well, what do you guys think of Mashima-sensei’s illustration?
