It’s that time of year once again where the wallets of many collectors are bracing for a lot of hurting as some of Japan’s biggest companies and up and coming figure and garage kit makers gather for the country’s most important figure event, Wonder Festival, or Winter WonFes 2015.
Let’s start things off with Good Smile Company, as well as their affiliates like Max Factory, Penguin parade, Phat! Company, Freeing, and others. As expected, the group’s Wonderful Hobby Life 4 U! booth featured plenty of new Kantai Collection figures, as well as other series such as Oregairu, Nanoha, The Irregular at Magic High School, IS: Infinite Stratos, Monogatari, To Love-Ru, Strike Witches, Girls und Panzer, and many more. New figmas and new Nendoroids were also announced, and let’s not forget that the GSC booth will never be complete without a new Miku figure, right? And they even have Love Live! figmas!

Meanwhile, over at Kotobukiya’s booth, model kits and figures alike line their displays. New Zoids HMM PlaMos, Frame Arms Girls, and others, were also on display. Their cute Cu-poche line, ARTFX line, and Bishoujo line, were also very prominent. New PVC figures from Aldnoah.Zero, Cinderella Girls, Girls und Panzer, Kantai Collection, Rage of Bahamut, and more, were also featured. Kotobukiya also announced a new 1/100 scale Zoids line, which would be the same scale as Bandai’s MG GunPla line, however, these would be smaller than their current 1/72 scale HMM line.
Page 3 will feature Megahouse, Bandai, and Alter
Megahouse meanwhile is looking strong with their Excellent Model series, as well as their Portraits of Pirates, and new Digimon figures.
Bandai on the other hand showed off their new Tamashii Nations members from their S.H. FiguArts line, which are Love Live!, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, and PreCure, as well as new Armor Girls Project figures from Kantai Collection.
Alter on the other hand counts on their mix of male and female figures for their success as Love Live!, Monogatari, Nisekoi, To Love-ru, Strike Witches, and others headline their female figures while their male figures are represented by Free!, UtaPri, Durarara!! and others.
Page 4 will feature Kaiyodo, Medicom, Volks, Griffon Enterprises, and Aniplex
Kaiyodo’s booth meanwhile featured new Revoltech Mini articulated figures, as well as a few capsule figures from popular series such as Attack on Titan and Kantai Collection.
While Kaiyodo went to the smaller route, Medicom on the other hand went big with new 1/6 scale articulated figures for their Real Action Heroes (RAH) line.
Volks meanwhile showed their latest upcoming figures, highlighted by a Dollfie Dream version of Snow Miku.
Aniplex’s booth was no slouch either…
And Amiami as well…
And finally, Griffon’s booth showed plenty of great-looking prototypes for their upcoming figures.
