These are the Top 10 Completed mangas which need an anime adaptation according to anime anime

After two decades, classic horror manga, Parasyte, has become one of the hottest anime titles in Japan right now, and it was adapted almost 20 years after the manga ended its run. This has proven that despite its age, several classic mangas can in fact be successful once they get an anime adaptation, even if it has been concluded for a long time.

Now, animeanime.jp has asked its readers to rank the completed mangas they want to see get an anime adaptation. Take note that this poll asks for COMPLETED mangas, so ongoing series like One Punch Man are currently out of the question. 1,800 people participated in the poll, and here are the results:

10) Kaze Densetsu Bukkomi no Taku by Hiroto Saki and Juuzou Tokoro

Illustrated by Yuichi Hasegawa and concept made by legendary anime director and Gundam franchise creator, Yoshiyuki Tomino, Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam takes a much-deserved win at the top of this ranking, beating out fellow-manga favorites, Psyren (#3) and Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation (#2). Gundam fans from all over the world have been asking for the anime adaptation of Crossbone, and with the recent success of Parasyte and Sailor Moon Crystal proving that older completed mangas would also be as successful as anime, the calls for it getting animated are getting louder.

Kodoku no Gourmet takes the seventh spot and is one of the series expected to be included in the Top 10 as its success has been shown in various live action features as well as several figmas.

Another series people want to see animated is Naoki Urasawa’s more modern take on Osamu Tezuka’s ground-breaking Astro Boy series, Pluto.
