Eiichiro Oda"s mistake in a One Piece illustration gets fans talking

One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda does not always make mistakes when drawing, but when he does, fans notice it and go crazy, as this week’s latest issue of Weekly Shounen Jump! magazine has proven.

This week’s new One Piece volume features the Straw Hat Pirates as bikers and just riding on the road, however, twitter user @ Takumitoxin has noticed something amiss with the bike Usopp and Tony Tony Chopper are riding…

Did you see it? Twitter user Takumi has pointed out the mistake with an illustration above and it shows that the front side and the back side of Usopp’s bike are not attached at all! Talk about a safety problem, yikes! Some fans who retweeted the image have even commented that this would be physically impossible as the frame is too heavy to support three people riding it (Nami and Robin are hitching behind Usopp).

Well, given the grueling schedule and hellish deadlines, it was no surprise that this mistake was overlooked by not only Eiichiro Oda himself, but the Shounen Jump! editorial staff as well.
