With the highly anticipated live-action Naruto musicals already hitting the stage starting next month, new cast images from the play have been revealed, and they feature the members of Team 8 and Team 10.
Team 8 comprises of the InoShikaCho trio. Anju Inami will be playing Ino Yamanaka, Tsubasa Hattori will be playing as Shikamaru Nara, and Ryou Katou will be playing as Chouji Akimichi
And while we know who Naruto finally we ended up with, the play will be having Hinata played by Saki Takahashi. Her Team 10 teammates, Kiba Inuzaka and Shino Aburame, will be played by Yuuta Iiyama and Shinishiro Ueda respectively.
And I’m just here wondering how will they cast Kiba’s dog, Akamaru…
Previously, the first batch of costume reveals featured Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Gaara, while the second batch revealed Kakashi, Iruka, Zabuza, Haku, and the Third Hokage. The third batch meanwhile featured Jiraiya, orochimaru, and Kabuto.
The other characters who were confirmed to be featured in the play include Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Shikamaru, Ino, and Chouji. The play will be held over at the AiiA theater in Tokyo from March 21 to April 5, 2015 before heading to Fukuoka from April 10 – 12, Osaka from April 17 – 19, Miyagi from April 23 – 25, and then it returns to Tokyo from April 29 to May 10, 2015.
The play will not only be shown in Japan, but also Macau, Malaysia, and Singapore, and it was also announced the dates and venues where the plays will be held in these three countries.
