With the release of the new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake, Square Enix announced via a press release in their official website that the upcoming remake of the unforgettable classic is going to be a multi-part series. according to the press release,
“FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE will be told across a multi-part series, with each entry providing its own unique experience.”
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal’s tech reporter, Takashi Mochizuki, tweeted some new details about this multi-part series, stating that the game is really huge.

While no release date has been announced so far, the game will first be made for the PlayStation 4. Tetsuya Nomura will be directing the PS4 remake while Kazushige Nojima is returning to write the scenario.
