As the My Hero Academia anime hype train continues to build some steam and gathering momentum, a new PV for the anime has finally been shown during Jump Festa 2015, which also announced that the anime will be airing starting April 2016, which of course is the start of the spring 2016 anime season.
The event also revealed the anime’s new key visual image, which not only reveals Izuku Midoriya and All Might, but also Ochako Uraraka and Tenya Iida. The new key visual also comes with the tag line “You Can Be A Hero.”
The animation studio responsible for animating Soul Eater and Full Metal Alchemist, BONES, will be the ones animating this new Shounen Jump! project which is based on Kouhei Horikoshi’s critically acclaimed and bestselling super hero manga.
The My Hero Academia manga follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy who lives in a world filled with superpowered beings and dreams of being a hero, however, there is one problem, he has no powers at all!
