Bandai Namco revealed the latest addition to their Pokemon fighting game, Pokken Tournament, and it is none other than Ruby and Sapphire’s grass-type starter, Sceptile, who will surely be using those dangerous leaf blade attacks to its advantage.
And just like many of the Pokemon in the game, Sceptile can also evolve to its Mega form for added firepower. The video also introduces new support Pokemon, with the normal/ flying Pokemon from Gen 1, Farfetch’d, providing a slash, while the Gen 1 bombshell of an electric Pokemon, Electrode, assists using its signature Self Destruct.
Already released in Japanese arcades, Pokken Tournament will finally be getting its own home console version of the Nintendo Wii U in Spring 2016. This will be a worldwide release and will not only be for Japan.
