The official website of the anime adaptation of DMM and Kadokawa’s hit PC browser game, Kantai Collection, has been updated, and it features a new key visual image from the upcoming new anime, which itself features the main character of the series, Destroyer Fubuki.
Hey Look! It’s Tanaka’s Waifu… I mean Bucky… I mean Fubuki! The poster promises that in 2016, fans will be expecting the new KanColle movie, which is being produced alongside a new sequel anime. The poster was also spotted near the Tokyo Big Sight, as the area braces for Comiket 89, which begins today.

The anime’s staff indicated via twitter that there will also be a sequel anime project to the original anime season, which aired earlier this year during the winter 2015 season. Their tweet also indicated that the movie and the sequel anime will be separate projects and are being produced at the same time. This resulted in an announcement during an event, that there will be a new Kantai Collection TV anime, which will be produced alongside a new movie.
