[VIDEOS] Fate/ Extra Last Encore TV anime announced, Heaven"s Feel movie to be a trilogy

Anime Japan 2016 made two very important announcements about the Fate series for 2017, and one of them being a TV anime for the highly popular Fate/ Extra game, which will be titled Fate/ Extra Last Encore. Teaser trailer for the upcoming TV anime has been streamed:

This means that we will finally be able to see Red Saber/ Nero in an anime that is not Carnival Phantasm! The anime will be produced by SHAFT (Nisekoi, Madoka Magica, Monogatari), with Fate/ Stay Night and Type-Moon co-creator, Kinoko Nasu, handling series composition.Type-Moon and Marvelous are credited for creating Fate/ Extra, which was originally released for the PSP back in 2010.

Meanwhile, the other important Fate anime announcement for 2017 regards the upcoming anime adaptation of the Heaven’s Feel route from the original Fate/ Stay Night visual novel. They announced that the film will be a trilogy, with the first film premiering in 2017. Here is a teaser trailer:

Like Unlimited Blade Works (TV) and Fate/ Zero, the trilogy will be handled by ufotable, with Tomonori Sudou directing the three movies. Heaven’s Feel is one of the three routes in Fate/ Stay Night, and as the Fate route is for Saber and the Unlimited Blade Works route is for Rin, Heaven’s Feel is for Sakura Matou, and yes, Illya has no route.

Did the Best Girl win? Official Nisekoi poll by Shounen Jump names its most popular character

Who is Nisekoi‘s best girl? It is the debate which has went on even before the anime adaptation was even aired, and the latest official poll by Weekly Shounen Jump! Magazine just adds fuel to the fire as a certain somebody finally takes the #1 rank for the very first time! Approximately 24,000 Shounen Jump! readers voted in the magazine’s poll, and here are the results:

eaf81a4c510fd9f9909a60df222dd42a2934a4f2_20160324195230024

  1. Chitoge Kirisaki – 4,443 votes

  2. Kosaki Onodera – 4,337 votes

  3. Seishirō Tsugumi – 2,048 votes

  4. Marika Tachibana – 1,632 votes

  5. Haru Onodera – 1,041 votes

The voting was very close, which just shows how much the fans love both characters. Previously, Kosaki Onodera won the official poll back in 2014, with Marika coming in at second, and Chitoge at third. This is Chitoge’s first time winning the poll, as the two previous official polls were won by Onodera.

So Nisekoi fans, do you think Chitoge deserves the win? What can you say #TeamOnodera members? How about you #TeamMarika and #TeamTsugumi? How about #TeamYui or #TeamHaru?

Pokemon GO"s "First Look" is finally here

When Pokemon GO was first revealed, fans went crazy, as the game promises an experience where you can explore the real world in search of Pokemon. Now, new details have been revealed by Niantic, the very company developing the game for smartphones. Here is a Zoomed out view of the Pokémon GO Game Map:

PokemonGO1 (1)

According to Niantic,

Pokémon GO represents the next generation of Niantic’s “Real World Gaming” platform. This platform combines mobile location technology and augmented reality to create a unique game experience that motivates players to go outside and explore the world around them.

Players will explore their surroundings to find and catch wild Pokémon. Certain wild Pokémon only appear in their native environments; for example, Water-type Pokémon may only appear near lakes and oceans.

Players can use the app to find Pokemon using location-based technology, and certain Pokemon can only be found in certain areas, like water Pokemon only being found near bodies of water, and so on. When a Pokemon is nearby, your phone will vibrate, and alert you.

PokemonGO2PokemonGO3

To add more Pokemon to your roster, players must explore, however, there are other ways to get Pokemon, such as hatching them from Pokemon Eggs, which can be found in PokeStops. These eggs will hatch after walking for a certain distance, just like in the games. These PokeStops are located at interesting places, such as public art installations, historical markers, and monuments, where you can collect more Poké Balls and other items. The game also has a syste, where its not just the Pokemon who gain levels, but the trainer as well.

The game will also have some gym battles, Here is how the official Pokemon website describes them:

At a certain point in the game, you’ll be asked to join one of three teams. Once you join a team, you’ll gain the ability to assign Pokémon you’ve caught to empty Gym locations or to a location where a team member has placed one of his or her Pokémon. Like PokéStops, Gyms can be found at real locations in the world. Each player can place only one Pokémon at a particular Gym, so you’re encouraged to work with others on the team to build up a strong defense.

If a Gym is already claimed by another team, you can challenge that Gym using your own Pokémon. Using the Pokémon you’ve caught, engage in battle with the defending Pokémon at the Gym to claim control.

The game is still in development, however, Pokemon GO will be coming with a portable device called the Pokémon GO Plus, which “will enable Pokémon GO players to enjoy the game even while they’re not looking at their smartphones. The device connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and notifies the player about events in the game—such as the appearance of a Pokémon nearby—using an LED and vibration. In addition, players can catch Pokémon or perform other simple actions by pressing the button on the device.” It will be sold separately and will be available soon.

Features, available languages, design and overall appearance are not final.
