Toei Animation’s official YouTube channel has started streaming a new trailer for the upcoming One Piece movie, One Piece Film Gold, and it introduces us to the film’s main villain, “Golden Emperor” Gild Tesoro, who is designed by One Piece creator, Eiichiro Oda himself.
The video also introduces us to the entertainment city and casino where the movie will be set, Grantesoro, and it looks like the Straw Hat Pirates will really be having their hands full with this one. The video also teases Akainu, one of One Piece’s most well-known villains.
One Piece Film Gold is slated for release on July 23, 2016, and will follow the Straw Hat Pirates as they enter a new dimension in the New World. It will feature an original story written by Eiichiro Oda himself.
