The Best Voice Actors in Japan: Winners for the 10th Annual Seiyu Awards now revealed

The awarding is now over, and the winners for this year’s 10th Annual Seiyu Awards, which award the very best of the Japanese voice acting industry, have now been revealed.

There were a few surprises, but in the end, these voice actors, or seiyuus, were the ones who emerged as the winners, and they are:

Best Actor: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sword Art Online’s Kirito and Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma’s Souma Yukihira)

Best Actress: Inori Minase (Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?’s Hestia and School Live!’s Yuuki Takeya)

Fans’ Choice Award: Hiroshi Kamiya (Attack on Titan’s Levi and Monogatari’s Koyomi Araragi)

Best Supporting Actress:

Shizuka Itou (Hayate the Combat Butler!’s Hinagiku Katsura and Heavy Object’s Floratia Capistrano)

Saori Hayami (The Irregular at Magic High School’s Miyuki Shiba and OreImo’s Ayase Aragaki)

Best Supporting Actor

Kenichi Suzumura (Gintama’s Sougo Okita and Gundam SEED Destiny’s Shinn Asuka)

Kenichi Suzumura also won the PERSONALITY AWARD

Yoshimasa Hosoya (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-blooded Orphans’ Orga Itsuka and Attack on Titan’s Reiner Braun)

Newcomer Award: Female

Sumire Uesaka (Kantai Collection’s Fubuki and iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls’ Anastasia)

Rie Takahashi (Sore Ga Seiyuu’s Futaba Ichinose and School Live!’s Miki Naoki)

Aimi Tanaka (Himouto! Umaru-chan’s Umaru Doma)

Newcomer Award: Male

Yuuichirou Umehara (Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE!’s En Yafuin and Snow White with the Red Hair’s Mitsuhide Rouen)

Shunsuke Takeuchi (the Producer from The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls)

Ayumu Murase (Haikyuu!!’s Hinata Shouyou and Gatchaman CROWDS’ Rui Ninomiya)

Best Vocal Award: i☆Ris for PriPara

Kids & Family Award: Pierre Coffin for voicing the Minions (Despicable Me and Minions)
