The main story of Kuroko’s Basketball may be over, but there is now a new animated film in the works, and it will be adapting the manga’s official sequel, Kuroko’s Basketball: Extra Game, as announced by Jump NEXT magazine.
But that won’t be the only Kuroko’s Basketball film, as the Winter Cup arc will be adapted into a 3-part movie series. While no date for the Winter Cup compilation movies have been announced thus far, Kuroko’s Basketball: Extra Game is already slated to premiere in 2017.
The movie will be following the newly-formed Team Vorpal Swords, which comprise of the six Generation of Miracles members plus Taiga Kagami, as they take on the American team, Jabberwock.
