Anime is full of overpowered kids, who at a young age can be more than a match for their adult counterparts. For this week’s Charapedia poll, the anime character database has asked 10,000 anime fans (60.5% male, 39.5% female) which anime kids do they think is the strongest. The term “strongest” here is used loosely, and does not only pertain to physical power, but how strong their minds and will power are.
Out of the 41 characters included in the poll, only the Top 20 were announced, and they are:
20 – Aladdin – Magi
19 – Trunks – Dragon Ball
18 – Beelzebub – Beelzebub
17 – Child Emperor – One Punch Man
16 – Reborn – Ketekyo Hitman Reborn!
15 – Wendy Marvell – Fairy Tail
14 – Kagura – Gintama
13 – Gotenks – Dragon Ball
12 – Illyasviel Von Einsbern – Fate series
11 – Son Goku – Dragon Ball
10 – Killua Zoldyck – Hunter x Hunter
9 – Shinnosuke Nohara -Crayobn Shin-chan
8 – Sakura Kinomoto – Cardcaptor Sakura
7 – Takeshi Gouda/ Gian – Doraemon
6- Gon Freecs – Hunter x Hunter
5 – Ash Ketchum/ Satoshi – Pokemon
4 – Conan Edogawa – Detective Conan
3 – Arale Norimaki – Dr. Slump
2 – Nanoha Takamachi – Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha
1 – Son Gohan – Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball has been quite represented in this ranking, with a total of FOUR entries, with one of them, Gohan, taking first place over the OP magical girl, Nanoha. Another work by Dragon ball creator, Akira Toriyama, Dr. Slump, is also represented in this list, as Arale takes in the third spot.
Again, the term “strongest” here has been used loosely, with characters like Conan, Gian, and Shin-chan making it to the top 10. These characters are considered very strong in mind or body in their respective universes, and that may be why many fans have voted for them, even if they pale in comparison to the huge amounts of power the other kids in this list possess.
Oh, and Ash is really strong, and he doesn’t seem to age one bit! After more than 10 years, he’s still 10 years old!
