Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax IGNITION, Sega’s light novel cross-over fighting game which features some of the most popular characters from Dengeki Bunko’s light novels, will be adding two new characters, namely, AKO and Lucien from “And you thought there is Never a girl online?”, also known as ‘Netoge no Yome wa Onna no Ko ja nai to Omotta?‘
The light novels by Shibai Kineko, which is also getting an anime adaptation, will be introducing Ako Tamaki, who does not seem to know the difference between online and IRL, to the game as a playable character, while poor Lucien, the subject of her affections, will be added as a support character.
Both Ako and Lucien will be added as DLC characters for the console releases of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax IGNITION, which were released for the PlayStation 3, 4, and Vita. They will be formally introduced in a demo during the Dengeki Game Festival event on March 13, 2016. No exact release date has been confirmed as of writing.
The light novels follow Hideki Nishimura, an online gamer who falls in love with someone he thought was a girl (actually a boy). He then swore that he should never trusts girls online ever again… until he gets an online confession from a beautiful girl named Ako Tamaki, who does not seem to know the difference between online and IRL.
