The April 2016 edition of Nakayoshi Magazine has confirmed that CLAMP will indeed be making a new Cardcaptor Sakura manga, which will be in celebration of the manga’ 20th anniversary.
However, Nakayoshi, which serialized CLAMP’s magical girl shoujo manga back in the day, did not discuss any further details on this new manga, but they did promise that “it will announce which future issue will run the new manga when that is decided.” They are also indicating that this will not be a full series, but that has not yet been confirmed.
Previously, the magazine announced that there will be a “New Project” for the Cardcaptor Sakura franchise, but did not indicate what it will be. It seems like this new CLAMP project is this new manga, but as mentioned earlier, the details are still a bit scarce. Who knows? MAYBE this new manga will be adapted into an anime?
