Not all anime characters are loved, in fact, many of them are really really hated. These hated characters are the subject for a poll which was conducted by Taiwanese statistics website, Daily View. They asked fans which anime character is the one they are annoyed with the most, and the results are a bit surprising.
Here are the Top 10:
10 – Frieza (Dragon Ball)
9 – Kaiba Seto (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
8 – Ayumi Yoshida (Detective Conan)
7 – Tsukasa Domyouji (Boys Over Flowers)
6 – Michal Amagi (Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch)
5 – Misa Amane (Death Note)
4 – Marshall D. Teach (One Piece)
3 – Sonoko Suzuki (Detective Conan)
2 – Yumeko Kawai (Doraemon)
1 – Haruhi Suzumiya (The Haruhi Suzumiya series)
In a surprise for many in Japan, the Taiwanese fans have vpted for a character they thought was loved by many. However, many in Taiwan find her character a bit too over-the-top, though that is where her charm lies. Other hated characters like Marshall D. Teach and Frieza are unsurprising, but having Haruhi at the top has surprised many fans in Japan.
