It seems like Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale is taking a page from the Marvel movies playbook. This is because during press event held at Shinjuku Baltic 9 last January 30, the movie’s director, Tomohiko Itou, told fans to stay until the final credits.
Also on hand during the event were Kirito and Asuna’s own respective voice actors, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Haruka Tomatsu. The trio promoted Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale’s February 18 Japanese premiere during the event.
And speaking of Ordinal Scale, new still photos from the movie have also been revealed.
The film will also have a global release, and will be taking place after the film’s Japanese premiere on February 18, 2017. Here is the movie’s poster visual:
